Stony Stratford Bowling Club
We are now a mixed club with over 100 playing members
Several members have become County Finalists and gone on to play in the All England Finals at Worthing or Leamington.
The Club is frequently in the Finals for both the Men's Bucks Cup and the Ladies' Trundel Trophy. The Club has winning both in recent years!
The Club has a very busy calendar, "Friendly Fixtures" being arranged for the Ladies on most Wednesdays, and Mixed or Mens games on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
As well as playing in friendlies for the Club, most members also compete in Club and County Competitions. Many of the Men and the Ladies are County players for Bucks.
We frequently host County games for Buckinghamshire.
We maintain our own green and clubhouse. We also run our bar and provide our own catering. This is carried out by the members on a rota basis, being a condition of membership.
The Club organises a large variety of activities, bowling and non bowling as can be seen on the following pages.

Stony Stratford Bowling Club was formed as a mens bowling club in 1923, and started playing on the present site in 1924. A Ladies Section was formed some years later, and played on a green, which is now now part of the tennis courts.
